Follow the Leader

It’s about time I update everyone, so here we go.
I left Derby based (Web, Design and Print) Liquid24 in the start of June on mutual agreements. I have new paths I wish to pursuit and eager to get there fast.

I’m now classed as a Sole-Trader working with a Direct Sales Marketing Company earning some quality money to speed scheme my own business plans.

With this company after only a week of trading I’ve been promoted to a leader, So I’ll be starting my own teams and able to continue development into my own company.

Why a Direct Sales Marketing Company I hear you ask?!, Well one of my major goals is to develop and release a cutting-edge advertisement and event-networking system. To get there I need to invest money and teach myself leadership, sales and business skills.
So working in Direct sales will give me all these skills and ability to earn a lot of money along the way, meaning no need for bank loans to start my businesses.

Other then a change of employment, I’m still in derby, still keeping really busy. All good :)

Brand new website design

Hey I would like to introduce officially my new website deign for 2010.

This design is a very clean cut design focusing on the clarity of work I’ve been producing and to produce.

I’ve moved over to Tumblr from WordPress as Tumblr’s platform is ridiculously easy to use and feels its community is better connected.

I would like to you to have a good browse around and check out all my work.

P.S. Sorry to my twitter audience for rapid fire updates as I was adding content.

What do you think of my new design?

Beaconise

Beaconise is one of my biggest project ideas manifested in the Summer of 2009, the idea has started light development.

The rounded story of Beaconise started with my passion of nightlife, I’ve experienced different styles of events up and down the country. From ordering tickets to finding the event, enjoying it then reviewing it, each event had its different take.

Some events would send tickets via post, others via email amazingly another sent its ticket via a jpeg image with a barcode that got scanned. All these different mediums for delivering event tickets, it got my mind ticking

While trying to find the event parking was always a difficult issue, “wheres cheapest, safe and close?” Most times I ended up parking in residential areas half a mile away from the venue, and still had to pay a fortune.

Once I’ve enjoyed my night out, (obviously sober because I was the designated driver) I wondered where the amazing videos and photos of me and my mates where. Some end up on facebook, other on tillate and other lost in the world wide web.

There must have been an easier way to manage all of this!?

Back in October 2009 I meet up a friend and we started working on some project ideas, Beaconise was born.

Financial constraints crippled the development forcing me to seek full-time work.

Since November 2009 Beaconise has been gathering dust, but the idea still lives on and strong.

I plan to continue developing Beaconise in the next few weeks/months.

Keep watching www.beaconise.com

If your a event promoter or venue owner, and wish to help fund a brilliant system please get in touch.

Issue after issue.

Over the last month my personal computer and online world have not been the same.
Firstly I still haven’t got a fixed internet line in my flat so not been able to publish any Podcasts, videos or large amounts of data.

On top of not having an dedicated internet line at my flat, My Mac decided to have a huge fatal failure. The hard drive master table lost its Identity so the Mac OS X was not bootable.

I’m happy to say, not all data is lost. I switched my hard drive to another smaller drive and placed the failed drive in a external case giving me the ability to fix, repair and recover data.

All this after sending my mac off to Apple repair for a diagnostic and attempt repair.

Good luck to those who have a completely fatal issue with there Apple MacBook when it doesn’t boot beyond a flashing question mark in a folder.
Apple have a Free replacement scheme for selected models that this issue is effected to.

A hand shake is not just a connection of ones hand with another. It’s a agreement with another person. A hand shake can be as little as a hello to a sorry I killed your cat. A hand shake is a great thing to say a lot without actually saying a word.
